We’ve partnered with Opus, Sheffield Futures, Citizen Network, SADACCA & Voluntary Action Sheffield to bring you From What If… To So What
Honest Conversations about the need for just and equitable systems change in Sheffield. The appetite to shift away from ‘business as usual’ operating systems, is already present in many organisations and groups across Sheffield. We shouldn't pretend that there is a meaningful choice in choosing to shift and transform systems or not. The choice we face is either an orderly transition or a disorderly one.
Already green-shoots of transitions work across multiple domains, from food to retrofit, to governance to care, to nature, are emerging in Sheffield. There is a deeply felt hope that the constraints and violence we are operating under are not the way it has to be. Indeed - they can no longer be the way they are.
We’re launching a regular space for people to meet and gather, discuss, collaborate, build connections, soak up knowledge and explore how Sheffield can build the capabilities to transition as a city. We invite you to be part of successive events focused on transitions and transformation of systems in Sheffield.
Expect short presentations and updates on great work happening in the city. Dynamic video clips from around the world showing proofs of possibility and honest conversations, opportunities to meet, imagine and collaborate with each other.
