We are pleased to announce, that as part of the Social Enterprise Exchange programme, we have planned and will be delivering an online social enterprise festival from 16th November - 20th November 2020.
2020 has been a difficult year for our businesses in the region. For many of our social enterprises, they have struggled to benefit from government grants and other forms of funding available. However, this has not stopped many of them from pivoting in their business models, delivery, and services. The Sheffield City region social enterprises have demonstrated their resilience, commitment, and passion for their causes during what has become one of the toughest years for businesses and organisations.
The Reset2020 festival will aim to celebrate this and support the sector in resetting in whatever way is necessary in order to make sure that we can continue such amazing work. Starting on 16th November with an opening session with Social Enterprise UK, the festival will include sector-based discussion sessions, opportunities to network and collaborate, and two-panel sessions on International Social Enterprise Day (19th November). As well as the partners involved in the Social Enterprise Exchange, contributors already include Social Enterprise UK, KeyFund, Nathan Geering from Rationale, and Vicky Dawson from The Sleep Charity. There will also be fringe events delivered by some of our amazing social enterprises in the region.
