Have Your Voice Heard!

We need you and your voice. As part of our work with Social Enterprise UK we are asking you to take part in their national survey for the 2021 State of Social Enterprise (SOSE) Report.

Every two years Social Enterprise UK publish the State of Social Enterprise Report. It is the definitive guide to the UK social enterprise sector and the SOSE data is used by government, corporates, investors/funders, universities/researchers and more. Your participation will not only enable you have a voice, but it will help you to support and promote the sector in these unusual times.

More than ever the sector in our region needs to hear from our Social Enterprises. We know that you have been doing some amazing work during this period, and we also know that many of you have also found it very difficult. This is a great opportunity to take part in sharing your experiences and helping us and Social Enterprise UK to collect a clear picture of what is happening in our region and how that connects with the national picture.

Why take part?

We know that sometimes surveys can feel like a pain, but we also know the value that good research and data can add to decision making and the sector. The Government and our leaders use such reports and data to help them to be guided in decision making and where they need to direct their finances, energy and support. For us to bring more support into the region, we have to be counted, and that doesn’t happen by staying quiet. The more social enterprises we can get involved in surveys like this in our region, the more reliable the date becomes. The more reliable the data, the more it can be used to move the sector forward.

How to take part

The survey is run by a research company called BMG. To join it please email socialenterprisesurvey@bmgresearch.com by 15th January. Should you have any questions get in touch with us and we will do our best to answer them.
