Mark Smith
Mark has over 22 years of experience working in the third sector leading and managing organisations that help vulnerable communities as well as the private sector particularly focusing on entrepreneurs and business startups.
Mark specialises in providing executive coaching and mentoring for senior leaders and startups. He recognizes that it can feel tough and isolated at the top and likes to adopt a goal-lite and eclectic approach, but is often drawn to Gestalt practice of focusing on the here and now.
Mark has delivered advice, training and mentoring to new business startups for many years sharing his experience and expertise and asking the critical questions to help a new business or social enterprise to think commercially and to become confident in their industry. From new café owners, crafting groups to address mental health and wellbeing, dog groomers, beauticians to graphic designers, Mark is comfortable using his mentoring skills to help their business development and growth.
Mark was a member of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) for 9 years.
